Social Worker – Single Point of Access | Salary £34,884 - £37,722 | Based in Kingston | Fixed Term - 16 months | Full-time 36 hours

About the role
All of our social work roles work in partnership with children, young people and those connected to them, in order to co-create plans that meet the identified need. 

As Social Worker - Single Point of Access for Achieving for Children, you will be responsible for
  • Managing an agreed caseload of child and young people to safeguard and protect the welfare of young people
  • Completing short-term work to meet needs and prevent long term involvement
  • Preparing and maintaining case records and other casework information

About you
To be Social Worker - Single Point of Access for AfC, you will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people as well as demonstrating the following points
  • A fantastic communicator
  • A resilient worker, able to work effectively in a team or on your own initiative, taking ownership and responsibility 
  • Confident and competent with relevant statutory and regulatory framework and of an appropriate range of professional interventions
  • A solution focused person with the ability to deal with sensitive issues
