Team Leader - Placements Commissioning
Salary: £42,684 - £45,585 per annum | Based in Kingston | Permanent | Full Time

About the role
The post holder will support the Head of Placements Commissioning by contributing to the overall operational management and development of the Placement Commissioning Team and deputise for the Head of Placement Commissioning Team as required.

As Team Leader - Placements Commissioning for Achieving for Children, you will be responsible for
  • Assisting the Head of Placement Commissioning in formulating and implementing objectives to support market development strategies. 
  • Aiding the Head of Placement Commissioning with the development of effective partnership arrangements with providers, including consortia commissioning arrangements.
  • Managing Placements Commissioning Officers with line management and operational control of the Placement Commissioning team.
  • Providing effective case supervision and professional support to Placement Commissioning Officers ensuring there is an opportunity to critically reflect on the placements and/or the case work.

To be Team Leader - Placements Commissioning for AfC, you will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people as well as demonstrating the following points 
  • Educated to a degree level with a relevant qualification in Commissioning (Desirable).
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
  • Establishes and maintains an effective network of working relationships.
  • Ensures colleagues and team members communicate effectively with each other.
  • Positively influences the perceptions of the people internally and externally.
  • Builds strong internal and external networks and uses them positively to benefit AfC and its stakeholders
