Salary - £46,560- £49,464 per annum | Based in Kingston | Permanent | 36 hours

We are now offering welcome payments to colleagues who join our Referral and Assessment and Safeguarding Teams.

About the role
All of our social work roles work in partnership with children, young people and those connected to them, in order to co-create plans that meet the identified need. The core activities for the Safeguarding Team Leader include:
  • Casework supervision of Social Workers
  • Assisting overall management and development of the team
  • Undertaking child and family assessments
  • Carrying out child protection enquiries
  • Safety planning with children and families
  • Direct work with children and young people
  • Care proceedings and court work
Our manageable caseloads, supportive management structure and flexible technology  ensure that we achieve good outcomes for our children, young people and their families and maintain a high-quality service.
