Salary - £47,841 - £50,826 per annum | Based in Twickenham / Kingston | Permanent | 36 hours

About the role

Our staff are an integral part of our success and we are seeking to recruit a Team Leader in our Twickenham Safeguarding Team. Our Twickenham office is based 5 minutes from Twickenham Railway station with easy access to London and the surrounding areas through a number of bus routes. Based in the office at least 3 days a week, you will be responsible for:
  • Casework supervision of Social Workers, including Senior Practitioners and ASYE’s
  • Assisting with overall management and development of the team
  • Authorisation of child and family assessments, child protection investigations (S47’s) and conference reports
  • Chairing of strategy meetings, and PLO meetings
  • Overseeing safety planning with children and families
  • Overseeing of Care proceedings till Final Hearing - quality assuring court statements and care plans, as well as supporting social workers in attending court and giving of evidence
  • Our manageable caseloads, supportive management structure and flexible technology ensure that we achieve good outcomes for our children, young people and their families and maintain a high-quality service.
