Salary Details: AfC pay scale 26-29 (£31,548 - £33,948) per aunum

Appointment Type: Full time, 36 hours

About the role

Two rewarding roles supporting children and young people with SEND aged 0-25 in receiving appropriate assessment, services & provision.

As an EHCP Co-ordinator for Achieving for Children, you will be responsible for

  • Managing a caseload of children & young people with existing Education Health & Care Plans ensuring their progress, provision and placement is monitored
  • Annual Review Process
  • Supporting children/young people & their families through the statutory EHC needs assessment process and identifying appropriate placements
  • Working closely in conjunction with other services and agencies to identify positive solutions and outcomes for children & young people with special educational needs.

About you

To be an EHCP Co-ordinator for AfC, you will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people as well as demonstrating the following points:

  • A good understanding of SEN Legislation in particular the Code of Practice (2015) and Children & Families Act 2014
  • The ability to work well under pressure and maintain good relationships & communication with parents, young people and professionals
  • A flexible and solution-focused approach to meeting the needs of children with special educational needs and disabilities
