About the role

We are looking for a full time Richmond based and a part time Kingston based Children’s Centre Administration Assistants to join our team at a time of exciting and positive change.

 

As Children’s Centre Administration Assistant for Achieving for Children, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the smooth running of all of the centre sites, including outreach venues, and to assist the wider centre teams with day to day organisational and administrative duties
  • You will be working as an integral part of the children’s centre team so will need to greet and receive centre members of the public and professionals entering the Children’s Centres and will need to assist in ensuring that centre users registrations and activity records are up to date and accurate
  • The role also involves undertaking a variety of general administrative duties as directed
  • A programme of training, support and development opportunities will be offered

To be Children’s Centre Administration Assistant for AfC, you will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people as well as demonstrating the following points:

  • You will have good organisational skills and be able to work flexibly to adapt to busy and changing circumstances
  • You will need to work well as part of a team and maintain a polite and professional manner at all times
  • You will need to manage your own workload, with support from the Administration Officer
