About the role
The post holder will carry out a wide variety of statutory licensing functions in line with Performance licensing as regulated under the Children and Young Persons Act 1933/63 and the Children (Performances and Activities) (England) Regulations 2014.

As Child Licensing Officer for Achieving for Children, you will be responsible for;

• Supporting children in maximising their educational opportunities
• Ensuring that licencing regulations and requirements are met in line with statutory responsibilities and duties
• You will be processing and administration of such licences but not limited to, Chaperone Licencing, Elective Home Education as well as the Child Performance Licencing.

About you
To be a Child Licensing Officer for AfC, you will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people as well as demonstrating the following points;

• Excellent IT skills
• Previous experience or knowledge of child licensing processing would be an advantage but are not essential
• Due to the nature of the work we do require applicants to be able to demonstrate an ability to work independently and being able to meet deadlines in accordance with issuing of licences.
