Apprenticeship Manager
Salary - £35,751-£38,883 per annum | Based in Twickenham | Permanent | Full Time l 36hrs per week

About the role
Managing the Way2Work Apprenticeship team for Achieving for Children.

As the Apprenticeship Manager for Achieving for Children, you will be responsible for:
  • The supervision and performance management for a small team of trainers/assessors. 
  • The day to day operational management of the apprenticeship service.
  • Ensuring trainers/assessors maintain both operational and quality standards. 
  • Oversight of the recruitment and training of all apprentices.
  • Working in line with all business values to effectively develop the service and deliver on contracts
  • Maintaining high quality delivery and contractual compliance.
  • Actively supporting the apprenticeship delivery team to fulfil requirements of their programmes.
  • Leading and development key employer accounts and contributing to new business opportunities.
  • Creating and reviewing policies and procedures ensuring compliance with safeguarding, quality assurance, funding and audit requirements.
  • Acting as the lead point of contact for Ofsted and Awarding Bodies in relation to Apprenticeships and other Centre Accreditations.
  • Producing accurate self assessment reports, quality improvement plans, presentations, performance reports and written updates to a range of stakeholders.
  • Developing and enhancing programme content and delivery methods that meet the requirements of the apprenticeship standard.

About you
To be the Apprenticeship Manager for AfC, you will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people as well as demonstrating the following points:
  • Proven experience leading or managing an apprenticeship team or training provider.
  • An in depth knowledge of Apprenticeship standards and related external body requirements.
  • In depth knowledge and experience of Apprenticeship funding rules and requirements.
  • Confidence implementing effective quality assurance systems that meet the requirements of the ESFA, OFSTED and internal AfC Internal Quality Assurance standards.
  • Experience of budget monitoring and financial management including forecasting.
