Head of Fostering and IFA Responsible Individual

Salary up to £64,023 | working in both our Kingston and Maidenhead branches | Permanent | Full time

We are a not-for-profit social enterprise owned by three local authorities (Kingston, Richmond and Windsor & Maidenhead), we offer the freedoms of a social enterprise with the employment benefits of local government.  Our Independent Fostering Agency was created in August 2018 and the Kingston and Richmond Branch was inspected in September 2019 and achieved a “Good” rating in all areas.  

About the role
We are looking for a forward thinking individual with a proven track record in  developing fostering services who is not phased by working across two different sites.  You will be passionate about ensuring that looked after children have a positive experience of foster care and are supported to reach their full potential.   You will be confident in monitoring and quality assuring fostering services and have a passion for growing different types of fostering to meet local need. You will have the ability to create and embed a strong performance management culture focused on delivering the best outcomes for children. You will provide clear decision making, high quality supervision, and effective oversight of carers and placements.  You will also have a proven track record in the recruitment of foster carers and be fully HCPC registered.
